Even though Priority Pass℠ Select comes with your Chase Sapphire Reserve®, you do need to sign up for it first. Log in to your Chase account, find the Sapphire Reserve benefits section and enroll.
Chase will mail you a physical card, but most people use the Priority Pass app. It has a digital card that works just as well at lounges, and you don’t have to worry about taking out your wallet every time.
At the airport, open the app, find the lounge you want, and show them your digital card and boarding pass.
Can You Still Use It at Airport Restaurants?
Starting July 1, 2024, Chase Sapphire Reserve cardholders lost one of their popular perks: airport restaurant credits. Before, you could show your Priority Pass and get up to about $28 off at spots like Bobby Van’s at JFK or P.F. Chang’s at LAX. It was a nice way to grab a meal without worrying about the bill.
Now, that’s no longer the case. While you can still use Priority Pass to get into lounges, the restaurant and cafe credits are gone for Chase Sapphire Reserve cardholders.
Chase isn’t alone in this—American Express and Capital One made similar cuts a few years ago.
It’s a bummer for those who liked using the restaurant credit during layovers, but there is still some food offered to you at the lounge.
Bringing Guests? Here’s How It Works
Your membership lets you bring two guests. Any additional guests usually incur a $27 to $35 fee, depending on the airport, which is automatically charged to your Chase account.
Also, some lounges are getting stricter, especially at bigger airports, so don’t be shocked if access is limited or they’re not letting in extra people during busy times. It’s happening more often than it used to.

Other Perks That Still Apply
Besides traditional lounges, Priority Pass also includes access to private Minute Suites in a few airports—private spaces with TVs, desks, chairs and daybeds where you can nap or decompress.
In international airports, you might encounter lounges with showers or quiet zones that are included with your membership. The experience can vary depending on where you’re flying. I recently visited the JFK lounge before my long-haul flight to Korea. With comfy seats and some light snacks, it was the perfect way to relax and unwind before a 14-hour trip.
